I have come to experience
that this thing called me
isn't separate
from this thing
called
everything else.

And everything else,
though it too
seems broken up
into things
isn't really
broken up
nor other
than the thing
called me.

I know all this now
of course
but it isn't so easy
in practice
because things
creeps back in
like a cat
slipping quickly through the front door
only to be discovered yet again
on your favorite chair.

But that's
not a separate thing either.
