You aren't going to find nirvana
by looking for it,
at least not overtly
and at least not mindlessly.

And since it's probably true
that all sentient beings
are such seekers,
finding this in yourself -
in all it's filthy glory,
the thing you think
will save your ass -
might ought to be
a priority.

It's not hard
to see shadows
in the bright light of day,
and trace back the view
to the thing itself,

All you have to do
is look.
