The raw unfortunate facts
are simple
when clarity grows
and the sun rises to brighten
the formerly dark crevices and alleys

where overwhelmed confusion once hid,
you can begin to see
the robes
amd armor
and uniforms
were all just props
and elaborate costuming
at best.

You don't have to believe me;
indeed, I'd expect no less.

Until such time as the dharma
of all this
crashes down,
the absolute best
anyone could probably do,
is understand the words

which alone isn't enough
and aren't enough
for anything
other than
nearly idle conversation
over coffee and smokes.
