i am a hieroglyph hibernating
in your heart
i have become a hermit in your
luminous laugh
painting a picture in pastel
enrichened love
brightening my day in the dead
of the night
coasting through my dreams like
a swan on
passions hazy lake staring at me
with intoxicating
green eyes that sift through my soul
like powdered sugar
sprinkled from the skies raining
down in the form
of cellestial
kisses

how can i repay you for showing me
how to love again???
apparently this is my destiny
to fall in love with sin

i excorticate my tin foil wings
and hang them up
i till the soil where i have
buried my heart
that didn't even belong to me
but didn't realize
until now but there's no time like
the present
so i present this present to you as
a token of
my appreciation for the lovely speck
of light you awoke
and thought it would be nice to show
the world what
you see
in me

how can i repay you for showing me
how to love again???
apparently this is my destiny
to fall in love with sin

and it's not so bad

i am yours for the taking
take me as i am
or bury me
next to this hole
where i found
my heart

which is now yours

That was awesome man. Don't know how many times I've tried to use that theme, but failed. I agree with Kristy, the passion you put into your words truly make the poem. Nice job man.

Dude you have a serious gift for weaving out words without hesitation. The flow in this was incredible and the message was pure beauty. Excellent job. ~Ryan!
