My life once filled with darkness
you fill those empty voids with light
you shine upon me
and make me see
what is and what is not meant to be

For me
you seem to do this
there was exceptional treatment from the start
but I blinded myself to the obvious truth
years later noticed again
and this time I could not let you go

Had to keep a firm grasp on you
could have easily lost you
you had more than enough time to go another route
to choose someone else
but you stood by my side
you comforted me
you waited for me
and I shall be forever thankful for that

Strange you may be
wierd you may come off as
but it makes you the exceptional person you are
the one I have come to have mutual feelings for as well
so glad to finally be with you
you know who you are
quit dening your own beauty
because if you do not love you
I myself do

(Hoping for the best, and willing to take the journey again just for you, a tribute to the well honored and respected cucuio.)
